Five Points is one of downtown San Jose's most popular craft cocktail bars. All of the flavors, ingredients & ideas behind both our food & drink menus are firmly rooted & inspired by the legendary Five Points, New York.
Five Points, New York was not only the nation's largest melting pot, but also one of the most notorious neighborhoods of the 19th century. Defined by vice, poverty & political corruption, Five Points captured Americans’ imaginations for over 70 years.
At Five Points, we honor those traditions & cultures of saloons & speakeasies that once graced the most infamous neighborhood of America. While we don't condone anything illicit at our bar, we do pay homage to the melting pot culture by bringing a little bit of old school New York to downtown San Jose. Just like the original Five Points of New York, San Jose represents a true melting pot culture: a place where people can meet and mingle and new traditions mix with old.
